Interference you can aim

Two gratings laid over each other at a slight angle or spacing make a new, larger pattern where they beat. The effect builds that from a grating of lines, dots, waves or rings, rotated, and the picture can bend the beat so the interference curves around it.

Four gratings

Lines gives the familiar parallel beat. Dots makes the halftone-like shimmer of two screens. Waves bends the lines into a ripple. Rings gives the concentric pattern of a zone plate.

Every option, from the app

Generated from the registry the app publishes, so this list is whatever the current build actually ships — not a copy of it.
