Halo, not spread

Glow samples in a ring around each point, with a larger radius and a gentler falloff than Bloom. The result is an aura, without the hard spread that Bloom leaves around a bright edge.

Three looks

Glow is the plain halo. Halation copies the red-tinted ring a film stock shows around a bright highlight. Orton layers two soft passes, a dreamy look associated with the photographer who first used it.
