Fog that follows the depth

The fog's density rises with the depth map, so the nearest things stay clear and the far things sink into the fog. It is the quickest way to give a flat photograph a sense of space.

Falloff

Falloff sets how the fog thickens. Linear grows steadily with distance. Exponential builds faster, so a short stretch of depth goes thick. Exp² keeps the near field clear for longer, then thickens hard.
