The cinema streak

Highlights above a threshold are stretched along an axis, which you can rotate, into a long streak. It is the flare of an anamorphic lens, the look of a widescreen film.

Four ways to flare

Streak is the single long line. Chromatic tints the streak so it fringes in colour. Multi-Streak adds parallel streaks, the look of a lens with several flare paths. Ghosts adds the repeated reflections a lens throws across the frame.
